just some of the most QT friends I have ~~~ ( ̄▽ ̄)ノ

(not on Facebook cause we did like 12345 embarrassing photos and friends are too shy for them to be on public space)

"First - Bliss House"
| 4:00 PM

Hello :) I've decided to try blogging again to pen down some memories I want to remember! And at the same time for people who wanna know how I've been, I rather they just read this blog to see clearer what I've been up to (instead of just listening to me chatter away).

My camera has been doing that job for me by capturing photos and then me subsequently putting them up on Facebook; but I hardly get to write much. Plus I wasn't comfortable with spamming the newsfeed..

Anyway, I shall digress and go onto what I've been up to;

YESTERDAY
I got involved in a department-wide event beginning 12PM - 530PM at Mount Faber Safra; a meeting + buffet lunch catered, then subsequently a yoga& zumba dance to promote fitness upkeep. Lunch was good, I scooped up some beehon + fried rice + broccoli + cereal prawns + baked fish + baked chicken for myself.

Then commences the yoga& zumba session -

Before that I have zero idea on what both will be like. In the end Yoga was kinda painful and Zumba dancing was actually fun - I thought they'll be relaxing and boring hahaha!!

When the session ended at 530PM, I took a bus down to Harborfront then subsequently the train to Clarke Quay, for dinner @ Bliss House;

Bliss House
Location: Clarke Quay, The Central (Level 3)
RESERVATIONS Phone: (65) 6225 5532
Email: enquiries@blisshouse.com.sg.
OPENING HOURS. 12pm - 11pm, Monday - Sunday

Ongoing promotion (Expiry: ??)
1for1 Mains (all pasta, most meats) - DBS Debit/Credit, Sun~Thurs
1for1 Drinks (incl alcohol) - Fri~Sat all day. Other days can't remember the timing, sorry!!
I paid with a DBS Debit and gotten 2 vouchers for $100+ spent - $10 rebate for every $30 spent, valid Mon~Thurs not able to combine with other promotions. Must be paid with a DBS card. (Which is pointless with the 1for1 Mains available IMO)

Summary: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! I loveeee the interior. The staff were generally nice and friendly despite not being locals eh hem - asking how's your meal + topping up of water is fast + THE BOSS ACE IS VERY NICE (more details on that below). Food was a little slow but I liked my food :p Thumbs up!

Such a pretty interior!!

Company for the night! :)

And this is me.

I dislike getting solo photos taken - I get all awkward and feels even more weird looking at myself when I load them up on my computer. Especially these days when my face (actually, my whole body) is becoming all round again T_T thanks to all those buffets / good food I've been eating for the past year!!

Here's 2 photos taken June 2012 for comparison T_T

Sigh pie

Anyway!! Onto the appertizer;

There was a 1for1 drinks so I had the Somersby Apple Cider ($15 before promotion)! Tastes like Apple soda with a slight tinge of alcohol :p

Generous amount of calarami ($14), this one was piping hot and crispy when served. Thumbs up!

I ordered the tenderloin ($34), this one was crispy on the exterior yes tender on the inside ohhh so good T_T serving looks little (150g) but I was really full when I finished this!!

My friend's seafood pizza ($24), thin crust but according to her she says she had better ones elsewhere - this was average! I was too full to try this so I cannot comment.

That was a live band that night too and we got seated just a few tables away! Heard them sang some songs off Bruno mars / Onerepublic which were pleasant but I was disappointed because they only knew how to perform ~really~ mainstream songs.

After our food and some talk, we roamed around the restaurant to capture some photos :p

The restaurant even has some props for diners to take photos with!
The boss, Ace was REALLY REALLY NICE!! He had an enthusiastic personality, offering to take photos for us around and suggesting what kind of poses we can do despite the restaurant being extremely busy (half the place was booked for some office event). I could see how passionate he is about his job :')!!

But there were some previous diners who weren't so careful with the props / displays :@ I actually saw how crestfallen the boss was when some props were starting to fall apart!! Please be careful leh people with items which aren't yours!!

Some of the photos taken for the rest of the night;

My friend:

Soooo much fun we had here. Definitely will be back if possible!! ^_^
